Video entries for One Show Interactive categories can be submitted via URL (landing page with player), the One Club Digital Upload system, NTSC Beta SP tapes or DATA formatted DVDs.

ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON VIDEO DVD. PLEASE USE THE ONE CLUB DIGITAL UPLOAD SYSTEM OR SEND DATA DVD OR BETA SP TAPES ONLY .

For campaign entries, each spot in the campaign should be its own file. Upload all spots of the campaign and apply each spot to the entry. Apply files to your entry by checking the box next to the listing in the Entry Files screen. Apply the files in the order that they are intended to be viewed (i.e the first spot applied to the entry will be the first spot viewed during judging).
For video entries submitted via the One Club Digital Upload please prepare entries using the following specifications:

Widescreen Entries
Widescreen (16:9) entries should be submitted with a frame size of 1280 x 720 using H.264 (mov) compression at up to 59.94 frames per second (29.97 and 24 fps are acceptable as well). The data rate for the file should be limited to 8 MBps (8196 Kbps).

Standard Entries
Standard (4:3) entries should be submitted with a frame size of 720 x 540 (720 x 480 if using DV source video) using H.264 (mov) compression at 29.97 frames per second. The data rate for the file should be limited to 4 MBps (4096 Kbps).

Upload Speeds/Connection Problems
Upload speeds to the One Club Digital Upload system are limited to the connection speeds of your computer to the Internet. Slower Internet connections could result in slower upload times (up to 5 minutes per megabyte in some circumstances).

To prevent large files from causing unnecessary strain on the upload service The One Club maintains a maximum file size policy for each entry type. Any file that is over the file sizes listed below will be rejected by the upload service. If your file is larger than the maximum file size, recompress the file using the guidelines listed in the Video Submission Guidelines.

30 Second Spot - 40 MB
60 Second Spot - 80 MB
90 Second Spot - 110 MB
3 Minute Video - 200 MB

ENTRIES OVER 3 MINUTES IN LENGTH SHOULD BE SUBMITTED VIA BETA TAPE OR DATA DVD.

3 Minute Video - 45 minutes

*Note - estimate transfer times are based on the user’s connection speed and One Club’s server load. Above estimations based on a standard 1 MB/sec cable connection. Their speeds may vary, with slower connections taking up to 5 minutes per 1 MB of video and faster connections taking less than 30 seconds per 1 MB of video.

For video entries submitted via NTSC Beta SP tapes please prepare tapes using the following specifications:

Tape Format
The One Club only supports NTSC Beta SP tapes. No Digibeta tapes will be accepted.

Multiple Entries/Multiple Categories
Entries in the same category may be entered on the same type. Please follow the Slate/Color Bars guidelines below. If you are entering several entries in multiple categories, there should be a separate tape for each category. Each tape should be clearly labeled with the entry labels for each entry.

Slate/Color Bars
Place 30 seconds of color bars at the head of each tape submitted.

Each entry should begin with 10 seconds of slate and 10 seconds of black. The slate should consist of the entry's Entry Number, Title, Category, and Total Running Time (TRT). For campaigns, each spot within the campaign should be separated by 2 seconds of black.

Entry Labels for Tape Submission
The entry labels are automatically generated through the entry process. Entry labels must be printed and securely attached to the tape case. Make sure the entry label is secured properly to ensure the label is not lost during shipping and/or handling.

Additional Requirements
Campaigns must consist of three, and only three, distinct commercials. All three commercials must be of equal length (e.g. :30/:30/:30) except in category 9G: Campaigns of Varying Length.

All non-English spots must be subtitled or dubbed in English. The One Club will not accept written translations of foreign spots.
