Marc Shillum VP, Director of Brand Development R/GA, New York
Marc is an Englishman, with Swiss ancestry, was trained under Gert Dumbar in Holland and Tibor Kalman in New York. He started creative life designing end title sequences for films, which means that he'll probably end life designing opening title sequences for films. Marc has worked for four international ad agencies, three international newspapers, and lived in five cities in three countries. And has two children Anouk and Elvis born in two countries, and a very lovely wife, Dionne.
He leads the agency's Brand Development practice at R/GA, which takes a digitally minded approach to the traditional principles of branding. This first-of-its-kind practice focuses on branding for the digital space and utilizes the agency's sophisticated design sensibility and its understanding of brand architecture to develop branded interfaces for online, mobile, retail, and out-of-home. Marc, who is charged with developing projects for new and existing clients, has developed an impressive, multifaceted background from working with some of the most respected agencies and design firms. |
